The chain is made of gold tone flat mesh links which ends in a scrolled art matte brushed gold design, almost like the curls of a large wave. Kunio Matsumoto designed this for the house of Trifari. It is very rare and elegant. The bright gold is so beautiful and has lasted, due to its high quality 24K gold electroplated finish. This is very collectible and I have never seen another design like this. It is actually mesmerizing on.
